Opportunity

Solution

With a mission to provide clean energy, Minnesota-based Green Energy Products asked ISG to prepare solar panel array foundation design documents for a ground-mounted system. As part of the design process, ISG calculated potential wind speeds and soil strength to determine an adequate embedment for the base of the solar array. A 6.5’x6.5’x14” footing was installed with 48 inches of soil above the top of footing at 1500 PSF. A pier extends above grade for the pole attachment to the array.
