Electrical Substation Misoperated Line Terminal Improvements

Improvements at a Pennsylvania substation addressed misoperated line terminal performance and aging equipment that threatened reliable operation. ISG provided detailed design for a comprehensive modernization effort, including installation of a new 138kV breaker and line exit breaker, four disconnect switches, three surge arresters, and upgraded protection, communication, and battery systems. The improvements enhanced coordination and aligned the facility with current operational standards.
