Bel Brands USA Babybel® Facility Expansion

Bel Group partnered with ISG to expand its Babybel® facility in Brookings, South Dakota, doubling the size and production capacity while keeping the plant fully operational throughout construction. The project includes major dairy process upgrades such as milk receiving improvements, silo alley expansion, milk processing and cheese make expansion, whey processing enhancements, and added packaging, warehousing, and cold‑storage capacity. ISG also modernized utility infrastructure and sanitary design systems to support reliable and efficient operations. Our role spans concept development through full architecture and engineering design, along with on‑site owner representation during construction. The expansion began in 2026 and is scheduled for completion in 2028.
