Martin County West School District Long-Range Planning + New School

Confronted with three aging facilities and operational inadequacies, the District completed a long-range planning process that resulted in a new consolidated PreK-12 school that aligned with the financial goals and a vision for the future. ISG completed a facility assessment, analyzed geographic information systems census data, supported the District in a successful referendum, and led the campus design. The new school includes dedicated elementary, junior high, and high school learning areas; multiple gymnasiums and athletic support spaces; a weight room; and music facilities. The site also features native prairie and a fishing pond that provide hands-on learning opportunities to teach life sciences and strengthen student connections to the outdoors.
