Scorpion Bay Marina
Peoria, AZ | Energy
Overview
ISG designed a power line that reached out to a dock that extends to boat slips approximately 0.25 miles onto the lake.
Opportunity
In order to accommodate boaters on Pleasant Lake, Scorpion Bay Marina needed to provide power along a dock to boat slips.
Solution
Located on Pleasant Lake which is fed by the Aqua Fria River, the Marina needed to get power to boat slips along a dock. ISG’s designs provided for a 12.47 kV line from the shoreline to a substation on a dock that extends nearly a quarter mile out onto the lake. The substation services more than 700 boat slips through the distribution system mounted underneath the dock structure that can accommodate a water level fluctuation of up to 90 feet throughout the year.
