The Le Mars Community School District partnered with ISG to replace three aging elementary schools and create a single, modern campus that supports current educational needs and long‑term community growth. Building on prior planning work with the City of Le Mars, ISG guided the District through early design, a mid‑project site change prompted by a donated property, and redesign efforts that allowed the project to move forward without compromising long‑term goals. The $73.6 million facility will serve students in grades PreK–5 and include flexible learning spaces, a library, art and music rooms, multiple gymnasiums, and outdoor play areas. Designed using mass timber and a geothermal HVAC system, the school emphasizes energy efficiency, durability, and operational value while supporting a healthy learning environment and future growth.
