Buffalo High School Football Stadium

Buffalo, MN | Education

Overview

Utilizing a bond issue from 2014, the Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose School District (BHM) elected to build a 3,500-seat capacity multi-purpose football stadium.

Opportunity

The District wanted to create a complex that housed a variety of athletic amenities in one place—giving students access to the tools and experience needed to achieve their goals while accommodating a wide range of sports and spectators.

Solution

The new construction football stadium includes a concrete entryway, ticket booths, concession areas and restrooms. In addition, a synthetic multi-purpose field, all-weather track, and sand peat field were added. Renovations were completed to the existing baseball fields and the softball fields were relocated. The site was analyzed and then re-graded for proper drainage to maximize usability. The sports complex has proven to be a valued investment for the District and community, creating a sense of pride for students and residents who engage in events at the new facility.
