UnityPoint Health

Cedar Falls, IA | Healthcare

Overview

ISG worked with UnityPoint Health to consolidate its services in one convenient location.

Opportunity

UnityPoint Health had major goals of combining and consolidating multiple locations to one large campus that would provide one-stop outpatient medical delivery.

Solution

ISG designed UnityPoint Health & Wellness' Prairie Parkway Campus, which consolidated all of its providers into one site. As the main building on campus was expected to serve as a face of the Cedar Valley, it was important that all sides of the building were designed for aesthetics. Inside the building, designs focused on providing a welcoming atmosphere that felt more like home than in a doctor's office. The interior design integrated warm wood tones and a fireplace, as well as easy-to-maintain finishes. The facility also showcase simple, clear wayfinding to help patients and visitors make their way through the facility easily. The facility also includes space to engage the public with a cooking class area to help the community develop healthy lifestyles.
