RR Donnelley

De Pere, WI | Food + Industrial

Overview

ISG's multi-printer facility and office building design for global communications provider RR Donnelley included layouts and systems to accommodate five presses with an extensive trim system. The 40-acre site development also included plans for two levels of administration offices, each with a computer access floor system throughout.

Solution

A two-story atrium now provides visual closeness to natural light, while dust and micron removal for presses keep production safe and efficient. The data center was designed with uninterruptible power service (UPS), clean power, and dual feed electrical service. Project management services were also provided, including the negotiation of a General Contractor fee to accommodate long product and material lead times. The project, which was constructed through the coordination of 66 bid packages, went on to win a National ASHRAE Award for energy efficiency.
