Minnesota State University, Mankato - Women's Soccer Field + Stadium
Mankato, MN | Sports + Recreation
Overview
ISG worked directly with Minnesota State University, Mankato’s (MSU) Head Women’s Soccer coach to help envision and provide a preliminary cost estimate for a new grandstand and synthetic turf soccer field.
Opportunity
To assist the University with a viable long-term plan, ISG provided a two-phased approach.
Solution
Phase 1 included the new synthetic turf, field lighting, player bench shelters, scorer’s table, and a padded knee wall totaling almost $2 million. In Phase two, the design team proposed the 1,400-seat grandstand, new plaza, parking and drop-off renovations, landscaping, site furnishings, and shade structures estimated at $5.7 million. To assist the women’s soccer program with fundraising, ISG’s visualization team created renderings to spark initial conversations and garner support from donors and MSU staff.
