Overview

ISG collaborated with Creation Technologies to design a space that enables safe, streamlined production of electronics.

Opportunity

To protect employees and the sensitive production of electronics, Creation Technologies needed a space specially designed to accommodate detail-oriented processes.

Solution

After acquiring a local company, circuit board manufacturer Creation Technologies planned to open a new facility on a greenfield site to accommodate the company’s growth. ISG’s solution was a new 50,000-sq. ft. facility, which houses two surface mount technology (SMT) manufacturing assembly lines and a corporate office. To combat potential interior production hazards, unique elements such as antistatic floors with metal flecks in the vinyl tiles ground employees and protect sensitive electronic components. These were installed in clean rooms and circuit board production spaces to ensure electronic component safety. Clerestory windows in the manufacturing space provide natural light throughout the facility. The corporate office includes a conference center, break room, and fitness center. These areas are also complete with large windows, that provide staff natural lighting and a connection to the outdoors aiding in worker health, well-being, and productivity.
