Solution

The renovation of the Jackson Minnesota Army National Guard Armory modernized the facility, which now serves as an Emergency Operations and Readiness Center for the Jackson area. The scope of the project included renovations for upgrading the HVAC systems, reconfiguring space utilization to meet new design criteria, and upgrading building to meet accessibility and ADA requirements. Throughout the renovation, the team met with the National Guard's Design Guide for Readiness Centers and General Facilities Information Design Guide standards.

January 17, 2020 – The largest wetland project undertaken by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship sits east of Storm Lake waiting for spring to come so it can perform its duty.
