Blue Earth County Public Works Facility

When Blue Earth County’s public works building had essential systems near the end of their operational lifespans, ISG, a public works building architecture and design firm, stepped in as the County’s committed partner to design a new facility. Strategic design was critical to keep the project within budget, ensuring responsible use of taxpayer funds while addressing service area needs, accessibility, land use, and environmental impacts. The new 89,369-square-foot facility opened its doors Fall 2025, providing a dedicated vehicle maintenance facility with vehicle storage and wash bay, employee office and wellness spaces, and an enhanced user experience, building on ISG’s experience in public works building design across the region.
