Mankato, Minnesota, May 8, 2025 – Continuing a trajectory of growth, ISG has climbed eight spots in Engineering News-Record's 2025 Top 500 Design Firms list, earning spot #245. As a full-service architecture, engineering, environmental, and planning firm ISG strategically integrates its practice groups to deliver the innovative solutions clients are looking for.

As a 100% employee-owned firm, each team member has a vested interest in the firm’s success, resulting in a culture centered on accountability and continuous growth. This foundation is strengthened by ISG’s diverse geographic footprint and comprehensive range of services. By serving 12 distinct markets across public and private sectors, ISG maintains flexibility and adaptability. This approach enables ISG to operate as a single profit center that encourages teams to work together, regardless of location or practice group, to deliver fully integrated services for each client.

“Being recognized by ENR is not only a reflection of the incredible work our teams do every day—it’s also a signal of where we’re headed,” said ISG President David Doxtad, PE. “As we continue to grow, we will create more opportunities for our people, attract even more top-tier talent, and expand our impact with clients across all markets. I’m energized by our growth and excited for what’s next.”

Over the last 18 months, ISG celebrated its 50th anniversary and expanded its physical footprint through both strategic growth and investment in key markets. In Sioux Falls, South Dakota, ISG moved into a new space within Cherapa Place, a development the firm was instrumental in designing. Additionally, ISG entered three new markets with the opening of offices in Rogers, Arkansas; Pierre, South Dakota; and Dakota Dunes, South Dakota. These milestones, along with ongoing organic growth in talent and services, reflect ISG’s intentional approach to growth.

Upward movement in the Top Design Firms list is a direct reflection of ISG’s mission to make a difference. While the firm grows its geographic footprint and service offering, ENR’s recognition reinforces the value of ISG’s approach and positions the firm for continued momentum.
