ISG designed this senior living facility to properly accommodate the needs of residents with memory loss and support the needs of its staff.

Opportunity

With many Alzheimer's and memory loss residents, Autumn Grace needed to provide safe and comfortable living spaces.

Solution

Comfort, convenience, safety, and privacy were thoughtfully incorporated throughout the design of this new assisted care facility in Mankato, created especially for senior citizens with special needs, including memory loss and Alzheimer’s. The facility includes individual apartment units that accommodate two residents each. A common kitchen and dining area is provided for residents, as well as a comfortable living room and commons area that features a snack bar. The activity center consists of a fireside room with a library, theater, and multi-media room, and a beauty salon. In-house physician offices and physical therapy facilities are also provided for residents.
