ST Paper, LLC
Oconto Falls, WI | Food + Industrial
Overview
ISG designed ST Paper’s tissue machine building and optimized its layout and detailing for the equipment.
Opportunity
In addition to its unique equipment, a new tissue machine building required special design considerations due to soil conditions.
Solution
ISG provided architectural and engineering designs for a three-level, 40,000 sq. ft. tissue machine building and managed the overall building layout and detailing for the equipment. Soft soils due to the nearby river required a mat-type foundation for the basement level, and the main building structure. The operating floor has a galvanized steel superstructure with concrete floors that lead from the basement floor level up through the operating floor to the third-level mezzanine where mechanical equipment support structures are located.
