After replacing 3.3 miles of pipeline, ISG provided agricultural and environmental inspection services for the East Red Pipeline.


Opportunity

The replacement of a section of natural gas pipeline required the evaluation of effects on local farm lands, drain tiles, and road crossings.

Solution

Enterprise Products replaced 3.3 miles of 10-inch pipe carrying Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) through Washington County in Iowa noted as the East Red Pipeline. ISG provided agricultural and environmental inspection on behalf of the County. ISG’s inspection followed Iowa Code to make sure that farm lands, drain tiles, and road crossings impacted by the project were restored to their pre-project condition. ISG worked with the County, impacted landowners, and Enterprise Products to ensure that the project was completed in accordance with requirements.
