What is your favorite part about working at ISG?

My favorite part about working at ISG is the available opportunities to grow in my interests and skills. I also enjoy the variety of projects that I get to work on.

What do you appreciate most about ISG’s culture?

I love the team-based mentality at ISG. It’s encouraging to have coworkers who seek one another’s advice, who work together to reach a common goal, and who challenge one another to be the best they can be.

How did you come to work in Land Surveying?

I started working at ISG as a construction administrator on the Water Resources team due to my interest and experience in the construction and agriculture industries. After starting at ISG, I began to take interest in surveying. My peers were supportive and gave me opportunities to learn and grow that interest. Them taking the time to encourage me and help me grow allowed me to discover a new career path and a love for surveying that I otherwise may not have had.

What do you like most about working in your role?

I love working with people and helping my coworkers and clients succeed. I also enjoy being challenged every day and getting to solve real-world problems by contributing to land development and renovation projects.

How do you spend your free time?

I find myself spending many nights and weekends remodeling our house, gardening, helping with various farming operations, and hanging out with friends.

Where is your favorite vacation destination?

One of my favorite places to go on vacation is in the Rocky Mountains. The scenery is incredible and there are a wide variety of fun outdoor activities available. My dream vacation would be to explore the white sandy beaches along the Indian Ocean in Mozambique, Africa.

Making Moves: The Benefits of Relocation

As ISG continues to grow and expand to new geographies, we want to share a few non-traditional benefits that have come with employee owners choosing to relocate. Culture transplants ensure that as we continue to grow, we stay true to our core values, mission, purpose, and culture, which not only benefits ISG employee owners, but our clients as well. This why we encourage relocation across all our locations.
