ISG Expands Arkansas Team with Municipal Engineering Leader Matt Casey
An Experienced Voice Joins the Conversation on Infrastructure, Growth, and Community Impact
ISG welcomed Matt Casey, PE, in June 2025, bringing deep expertise that strengthens our Public Works bench and add momentum to our growing Arkansas team. His decision to come aboard reflects more than just a career move, it’s a shared belief in what infrastructure can do when it’s powered by the right people.
A respected leader in municipal engineering and infrastructure development, Matt brings decades of experience serving cities and communities across Northwest Arkansas. From high-profile transportation corridors to long-range planning, he has shaped the places people call home. Now, he is bringing that expertise to ISG.
“What excited me the most about ISG was the people-first culture,” said Matt. “It’s a firm grounded in integrity, long-term relationships, and the understanding that every community is different—and deserves to be heard.”
Before joining ISG, Matt spent over 20 years in public sector leadership in Arkansas. Most recently, he served as engineering design manager for the City of Fayetteville, where he played a key role in capital project delivery and planning. During his time there, Matt helped steward a $76 million bond package and oversaw critical elements of the City’s mobility and infrastructure program.
Now, Matt is continuing to work at ISG but from a new angle. He is actively working on South School Avenue roadway improvements while collaborating with ISG’s multi-disciplinary team to provide expertise in proposals for additional public works projects in Northwest Arkansas and throughout the Midwest. His deep understanding of municipal processes, paired with his calm, approachable leadership style, makes him a valuable partner to clients and colleagues alike.
For those in the Northwest Arkansas public works community, Matt is a familiar face, often spotted at American Public Works Association conferences, regional infrastructure summits, or on the trails of the Razorback Greenway. His presence in these spaces speaks to more than just professional development and networking; it’s a sign of his deep investment in the region’s future.
Joining ISG is a natural extension of that commitment. Matt's transition from city leadership to consulting gives him a unique ability to see both sides of the infrastructure conversation. He understands the challenges cities face from the inside, and how strategic partnerships can help meet them with creativity, clarity, and confidence.
Matt’s arrival reflects ISG’s intentional expansion strategy in Arkansas and the broader region. His leadership strengthens our public works capabilities and adds even more insight to the collaborative teams already supporting clients in Northwest Arkansas and beyond.
When he’s not engineering solutions, you’ll likely find Matt hunting, working on a new woodworking project, or starting his day with a local outdoor men’s workout group. These days, he’s also chasing after his grandbabies, which gives him even more reason to care deeply about the communities we’re helping shape. As a neighbor, engineer, and advocate, Matt brings both heart and hustle to ISG’s mission of making a difference.
Welcome to ISG, Matt. We’re glad you’re here.

As ISG continues to grow and expand to new geographies, we want to share a few non-traditional benefits that have come with employee owners choosing to relocate. Culture transplants ensure that as we continue to grow, we stay true to our core values, mission, purpose, and culture, which not only benefits ISG employee owners, but our clients as well. This why we encourage relocation across all our locations.
