ESOP + Future
An important step in planning for the future, no matter what stage of your career, is finding an employer that invests in its people, culture, and firm growth—all while paving pathways for its employees to do the same. Full-time employees here at ISG get to be a part of such a firm, thanks largely in part to the firm adoption of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
Potential
By now it should be evident that we are 100% owned by employees. Through broader ownership, and the opportunity to be directly connected to performance, our culture of accountability and opportunism is amplified opening the doors to limitless potential for the firm, employees, and clients. The benefits associated with the ESOP are tremendous. Every full-time employee at ISG is automatically a part of the ESOP after 1,000 hours are worked and timing are aligned. Put quite simply, everyone works hard = everyone benefits at the appropriate level, not just an elite group.
Benefits
ISG's ESOP structure is more than just a monetary transaction or retirement benefit. Ideas are not generated in board rooms, but by talented professionals at every level. Mentorship is natural and consistent versus scripted. There's a culture of support and a fierce drive for growth instead of secrets and rank. We are better together, all forging ahead in the same direction. Our All-In mentality goes beyond a marketing statement or firm mantra as it sums up the employee owner, entrepreneurial environment that puts clients and solutions first.
A Washington State study found that ESOP participants made 5% to 12% more in wages and had almost three times the retirement assets as did workers in comparable non-ESOP companies.
