As part of the City of Kingsley’s solution for storm water issues, a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of a new Water Resource Restoration Sponsored Project will be held with ISG and other Project leaders. ISG designed the Project to focus on slowing storm water, reducing erosion, and improving water quality. As part of the ceremony, a water infiltration demonstration with a fire truck will show how the new permeable pavers, a unique Project component, will act as a sound solution for the City of Kingsley.

ISG received the Best of B3 Guidelines Award for the Austin National Guard Armory Renovation project at the Best of B3 Recognition Luncheon held September 23rd, in Minneapolis, MN. The B3 (Buildings, Benchmarks & Beyond) system provides tools and programs designed to help make buildings more energy efficient and sustainable, and is funded and administered through the Minnesota Department of Commerce. All state funded building projects are required to comply with B3 criteria.

ISG announces the opening of a new office in Des Moines, Iowa. This becomes the seventh office location for ISG across Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Chad Surprenant, ISG President/CEO, states “The opening of our Des Moines office is an exciting undertaking. An important part of our strategic plan has been to be in the Des Moines market for obvious business opportunities and to further enhance service to our local and national clients. As a proud graduate of Iowa State University, I also know that our Des Moines location will allow us to attract and retain the best talent from Iowa’s many great higher educational institutions, which will only strengthen our firm and help us continue to grow and succeed into the future.
