ISG La Crosse Expands Local Architecture and Transportation Expertise

April 19, 2016 (La Crosse, Wisconsin) – As ISG’s La Crosse office expands to occupy the 10^th floor of their current location in the heart of the City, recent architecture and transportation staff additions now offer local expertise to the firm’s growing Wisconsin office. ISG is pleased to announce the recent hire of architect Kevin Bills, AIA, LEED AP BD + C, and three seasoned transportation professionals; project manager, Joel Goodenough; transportation designer, Kyle Maroszek; and technician, Ryan Booth.

Architecture Expertise

Kevin has over ten years of experience in architecture within the La Crosse region where he has designed educational, corporate, retail, and hospitality facilities. Kevin will serve as one of ISG’s lead construction administrators with a strong background in construction and building materials allowing him to effectively review plans and specifications. With the keen ability to successfully lead projects from inception to completion, Kevin focuses his efforts on thoroughly understanding each client’s needs during the design process and then monitoring project goals by effectively collaborating with contractors.

Transportation Expertise

As a transportation focused project manager, Joel has extensive engineering design experience of on-system highway projects. With a passion for quality, accuracy, and practicality, Joel’s attention to detail ensures superior quality control and assurance for construction management and design projects. Over the past 15+ years, Joel’s broad range of responsibilities have included pavement replacement, pavement rehabilitation, bridge construction, and bridge maintenance projects. He is well-versed in multiple design processes including creating construction detail drawings, computing drainage runoff, inlet spacing and storm sewer sizing computations, construction staging conceptualization, and traffic control plans.

Kyle brings first-hand state knowledge with an emphasis on geometric and roadside design, as well as cost estimating. Kyle has extensive experience providing design engineering services for urban reconstruct projects, four-lane divided highway expansions, and several asphalt pavement replacement projects with unique elements such as box culverts, shared use paths, traffic control, culvert pipe and bridge rehabilitation, and bridge replacements. Through his design and construction experience with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), he has assisted with projects ranging from rural mills and overlays, rural roundabouts, urban concrete pavement reconstruction and feasibility studies.

Ryan serves as a civil engineering technician and comes to ISG with several years of experience in the private and public sectors conducting construction inspections and topographic surveys, and creating construction plans. Working closely with Joel, Kyle, and ISG’s team of 200+ professionals, Ryan focuses on providing clear and concise survey data that help set the framework for accurate and custom construction solutions.
