June 2, 2015 – ISG, a full service architecture, engineering, environmental and planning firm, announces the opening of a new office in Minneapolis/St. Paul. This becomes the seventh office location for ISG across Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
Chad Surprenant, ISG President and CEO, states, “With ISG’s growing client base and significant number of staff members in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, it makes complete sense for us to have an office location there. In addition, the site of our new office provides immediate access to the Light Rail Blue Line, I-494, and the airport, making it ideal for our staff and clients.” The new office is located in the International Plaza building at 7900 International Drive, Suite 550, Minneapolis, MN 55425.
Leading the new office is Senior Civil Engineer, Andy Brandel, PE, a University of Minnesota graduate and Associate Principal at ISG. With extensive experience in municipal infrastructure and commercial development projects, Brandel brings proven leadership skills and a reputation as a results-driven project manager and engineer. Brandel has been with ISG for 13 years and prior to managing this new office, he led ISG’s Civil Engineering Group in Faribault, MN. Brandel was also recently elected to ISG’s Board of Directors.
This year marks an exciting milestone for ISG’s Des Moines, Iowa office as we celebrate a decade of dedication and service to our local community. Over the past ten years, our team has been privileged to contribute to numerous projects that have shaped the landscape and enhanced the quality of life for residents in Central Iowa.
ISG will host the second annual Future of Southern Minnesota Lakes Conference at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in Mankato, Minnesota. The conference will open on Friday evening, April 12, with a fireside chat featuring writer and host of the television show "Minnesota Bound," Ron Schara. The evening is an exclusive opportunity for conference attendees to share stories about Minnesota’s natural resources and learn from one another in a relaxed atmosphere.
