Announcing New Shareholders

October 29, 2014 – I+S Group (ISG) announces the addition of five new shareholders: David Doxtad – ISG Storm Lake, IA; Derek Johnson, PE – ISG Des Moines, IA; Will Kratt, PE – ISG La Crosse, WI; and Justin Steffl – ISG Mankato, MN.

This expanded ownership increases the number of shareholders to 21 in our 150+ person company. The additions reflect ISG’s commitment to recognizing the contributions of each professional and engaging them on many levels to help shape the future course of the firm, which continues on a steady path of growth and expansion. Over the past several years, the ISG has significantly expanded our reach and broadened our expertise at offices throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa.

According to ISG President and CEO, Chad Surprenant, “Successful transition of ownership is critical for any organization. We are very fortunate to have these five individuals who have all displayed leadership and alignment with ISG’s vision join the shareholding group. Each has demonstrated expertise and ingenuity, qualities on which we place high value.”

David Doxtad – Storm Lake, IA: As a Civil Engineer, David has a wide array of experience in planning and designing municipal projects including sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water, and transportation, as well as agricultural drainage.

Derek Johnson, PE – Des Moines, IA: With over ten years experience in private development and municipal infrastructure projects, civil engineer, Derek Johnson was recently selected to lead our newest office location in Des Moines.

Will Kratt, PE – La Crosse, WI: As a civil engineer and transportation project manager for the past ten years, Will’s work includes planning, designing, and managing construction projects for highways, streets, bridges, and airports.

Justin Steffl – Mankato, MN: Justin is a senior project manager at ISG. His efforts are focused on leading projects through the entire design process, beginning with the early design phase and continuing with construction administration through close-out and warranty follow-up.
