ISG Announces Dan Stueber to Serve as MSPS President-Elect
March 8, 2016 – ISG professional surveyor and civil engineer Dan Stueber was recently sworn in as President-Elect of the Minnesota Society of Professional Surveyors (MSPS) at their past Annual Meeting. Dan served on the MSPS Board of Directors before being sworn in as President-Elect and works with members to develop and promote the land surveying industry. In his role at MSPS, Dan recently helped update the Common Interest Community (CIC) Plat Manual, a statewide guidebook for surveyors.
Together with other members, Dan encourages youth to consider surveying as a career choice. “One of MSPS’s new initiatives includes developing speaker kits for members to use for presentations at school science, technology and math (STEM), and other community outreach events. We are also supporting a program within MSPS to help young professionals develop their careers by providing them with a network of support and resources”, states Dan.As an ISG Principal, licensed engineer, and land surveyor, Dan is able to share his hands on knowledge of land surveying practices, collaborate with other professionals, and promote the industry. ISG strives to put expertise into action by encouraging employees to participate in professional organizations, such as MSPS, to further develop best practices and the professional community.
