ISG received the Best of B3 Guidelines Award for the Austin National Guard Armory Renovation project at the Best of B3 Recognition Luncheon held September 23rd, in Minneapolis, MN. The B3 (Buildings, Benchmarks & Beyond) system provides tools and programs designed to help make buildings more energy efficient and sustainable, and is funded and administered through the Minnesota Department of Commerce. All state funded building projects are required to comply with B3 criteria.
ISG was named to the 2015 Zweig Group Hot Firm List that recognizes the fastest-growing architecture, engineering, planning, and environmental consulting firms in the United States and Canada. The Hot Firm List is comprised of firms that have outperformed the economy and competitors to be leaders in their fields.
ISG, a full service architecture, engineering, environmental and planning firm, announces the opening of a new office in Minneapolis/St. Paul. This becomes the seventh office location for ISG across Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
ISG was recognized as one of the country’s leading design firms by Engineering News-Record (ENR) magazine’s annual industry rankings. The Top 500 Design Firms list ranks the largest U.S.-based designs firms, both publicly and privately held, based on design-specific revenue. ISG is ranked at 488 on this prestigious, widely-watched industry ranking. ENR is celebrating its 50th anniversary publishing the list that began in 1965.
ISG is pleased to announce that Environmental Scientist, Bridgett Winkels, recently earned the credential of Certified Arborist by the ISA (International Society of Arboriculture). In addition to successfully completing the exam, ISA Certified Arborists follow a code of ethics and have met all requirements to be eligible for the exam, which includes three or more years of full-time, eligible, practical work experience in arboriculture and/or a degree in the field of arboriculture, horticulture, landscape architecture, or forestry from a regionally accredited educational institute.
ISG was recently awarded a 2015 American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Award of Excellence for our work on the City of Fairmont Water Treatment Plant. ISG accepted the award along with our consultant team partner AE2S.
