Pavement and resurfacing projects often involve a lot of moving parts. To ensure that there are minimal disruptions to daily life, ISG’s project teams focus on coordination and communication in the towns in cities in which they work. For the resurfacing of streets in West Des Moines, Iowa, ISG’s project team did just that, and in doing so, earned statewide recognition.
The City of Algona, Iowa was recently awarded a Best Development Award by 1000 Friends of Iowa in the Stormwater Management Category for its Downtown Green Parking Lot Infrastructure Renewal project. Permeable pavers, native plants and trees, combined with water storage, all contribute to water quality improvement strategies for the community through this project.

ISG, a leading design firm with clients nationwide, recently expanded to a new location in the iconic, downtown WaterMark building overlooking the Fox River (Wisconsin). Through ISG’s in-house design team, the approximate 15,000 square foot firm-designed office space, which is east from its previous office park location, was strategically located to pay tribute to local history, City evolution, and breathtaking views that showcase the heart of Green Bay.
