Windom Elementary School

ISG designed a new elementary school to provide students and staff a contemporary, flexible, and safe learning space to replace their former outdated facility. ISG was involved throughout the successful referendum process and guided stakeholders through a strategic prioritization and design effort. The effort honored their vision of the facility, while aligning wish-list items with their long-term curriculum goals and staying within budget. ISG developed a series of plan options for the District to consider. The result is a two-story school that includes a music and art room, media center, gymnasium, wide spaces between classrooms, ample natural light and exterior views, and safe pick-up and drop-off areas for students at the main entrance.
