When the City of Storm Lake needed to replace its aging Water Tower No. 1, built in 1956, they turned to ISG for water and wastewater engineering. Using hydraulic modeling, the team identified a high-demand location to maximize performance for the new Water Tower No. 5. This water tower construction project features a 1.75-million-gallon composite-pedestal design that eliminates the need for periodic re-coating, providing long-term cost savings, reliable service, and the capacity to support future growth while improving overall system efficiency.
