A technologically advanced micro steel mill expanded domestic steel production using an efficient, scrap-fed electric arc furnace (EAF) process. ISG provided detailed engineering design and construction support for the 220,000-square-foot facility, coordinating installation of process equipment, utilities, and infrastructure to enable continuous casting and rolling operations. Designed to produce 390,000 tons annually, the mill improves yield, reduces energy consumption, and introduces advanced manufacturing capabilities, including the first U.S. spooler system for long-length rebar production.
