Round Lake Park Building

An existing park building at Round Lake Park was scheduled for demolition to make way for a reimagined gathering space. ISG designed a year-round multifunctional building to support events, picnics, skating, and play. The modern design has angular forms and expansive windows, ensuring panoramic views of the lake and park from all angles. Incorporating wood elements and metal paneling, the structure harmonizes with its natural surroundings. The design uses sustainable practices, including solar powered electrical systems, green roof fueled by stormwater, and geothermal technology, reducing energy costs and enhancing the building's lifecycle.

  • 50-75 capacity community building
  • Restroom and changing room amenities
  • Geothermal technology with wells extending over 400 feet below ground
  • Rain collection features
