Mill Towns State Trail Preliminary + Final Design

Segments D and E of Mill Towns State Trail connect downtown Northfield to the historic Waterford Bridge and future state trail systems. ISG led the preliminary and final design of the 3.8-mile, 10-foot-wide trail connection, collaborating with the City of Northfield and Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. The segments link the Carleton College Arboretum, key trail corridors, and neighborhoods, providing an accessible corridor that reinforces Northfield’s commitment to recreation.
