Iowa Central Community College Biofuels Lab

We designed a specialty biofuels testing laboratory to support high-risk, high-precision operations within an active campus environment. The facility was engineered to safely accommodate explosion-risk testing through pressure-relief wall systems, controlled material storage, and purpose-built interior assemblies. Detailed chemical inventories, equipment layouts, and hazard classifications were integrated into the design to support safe operations and regulatory compliance. This approach applies mission-critical safety and systems planning to protect people, equipment, and continuous research operations.
