Hotel Mankato

To address the City of Mankato’s critical shortage of hotel rooms for large-scale events, developers and investors partnered with ISG for the Hotel Mankato revitalization project. Leveraging ISG’s hotel design services, the plan transforms the existing site into two adjoining hotels—Marriott AC and Element by Westin—strategically located near major highways, the Minnesota River, and key amenities like the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center. 

The development will feature a rooftop restaurant, shared lobby, pool, fitness center, and direct connections to the downtown skywalk and parking ramp.

Local collaboration plays a vital role in the project, involving regional general contractors and design partners. ISG’s approach integrates community stakeholders, regional culture, and lifestyle branding into the design, ensuring the project not only meets functional needs but also reflects Mankato’s unique character.
