Farr’s Landing Mitigation Bank Restoration

The Farr’s Landing project, led by ISG, represents South Dakota's first wetland mitigation bank, generating both wetland and stream credits. The project aimed to improve water quality, enhance aquatic and wildlife habitats, stabilize streams, and re-establish floodplain connectivity. The stream's length was increased, enhancing its natural alignment and ecological functions. The completed project also supports long-term ecological stability and function by establishing native vegetation, improving floodplain connectivity, and providing ecological restoration services for the site’s natural hydrology regime and vegetation community.
