About

Skilled with analyzing existing structures and developing additions for those that are new, Nick’s broad design experience includes steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures for multiple types of businesses and agricultural facilities.

Nick works with ISG’s agricultural partners to design building systems that support highly sustainable investments for various dairy, grain, and animal facilities. Working closely with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers, Nick ensures facilities maintain compliance with environmental and building code regulations. Nick has led many reconstruction and renovation projects including evaluations of existing building elements as well as updated facility designs for industrial
building modifications, new equipment, and updated production processes. Skilled in the interpretation of 3D scanning results to determine areas of structural anomalies and inefficiencies, Nick helps guide targeted structural renovations and reconstructions for ISG partners.

Unique but connected, industrial manufacturing requires meticulous attention to detail throughout design to support maximized productivity, product quality, and worker safety. Nick establishes equipment arrangements and facility layouts that minimize cross-contamination between materials, support safe environments, and allow for a natural and effective production process. To ensure timelines during improvements or expansions are met, Nick implements project phasing options to minimize production downtime and maximize results.
