Kimberly-Clark Exceptional Workplace
Paris, TX | Food + Industrial
Overview
In partnership with the general contractor and corporate rebranding experts, ISG participated in an exciting, employee-focused 20,000 square foot renovation at Kimberly-Clark’s facility in Paris, Texas.
Opportunity
To meet improved branding and design standards, the Kimberly-Clark facility in Paris, Texas required aesthetic updates, including finish upgrades such as new wall and floor coverings. As a company committed to their employees, they recognized the opportunity to pair the necessary branding enhancements with an extensive renovation that would benefit the employees.
Solution
As a multi-faceted project, the highly-collaborative effort required significant coordination between all project participants—Kimberly-Clark, Miron Construction, ISG, Thysse, and Atmosphere—to ensure branding standards, best practices, and client goals were all achieved. Spaces impacted by the renovation included the café, food service area, and two locker rooms with two restrooms.
In addition to a full reconfiguration of the locker rooms into open-concept, co-ed spaces with lounges, the café and locker room electrical and mechanical systems received a complete upgrade, engineered by ISG. Formerly a self-service employee breakroom, the re-envisioned space was transformed from an area filled with vending machines to a nutritional café focused on the employees.
Collaborating with the general contractor, Kimberly-Clark’s branding specialist, and an interior design consultant, ISG sought to reduce complexity between all parties through timely communication, accurate project schedules, and cohesive finish specifications, leading to successful adherence to Kimberly-Clark’s branding standards and project goals.
