An experienced water/wastewater group leader with more than 30 years designing and managing complex multi-disciplinary efforts, Walter is a seasoned expert on water, wastewater, and water resources design. With a vibrant background in international UNICEF project management in Somalia and Ethiopia, as well as experience serving a wide variety of Midwest partners, Walter’s authenticity coupled with his critical thinking brings a valuable perspective and direct industry understanding in the water solutions market.
Walter’s success and expertise in high level custom solutions has made him a go-to leader in keys areas such as water and wastewater treatment, pumps and pumping systems, hydrology and hydraulics, and biosystems engineering. Additionally, Walter has specialized in water reuse and assists the industry in developing ecologically responsive solutions to water conservation.
Training up the next generation of engineers, Walter co-teaches courses in ecological and civil engineering design at the University of Minnesota. Earlier in his career, Walter served as a water well driller demonstrating a commitment and unique understanding of the water industry.
