About

Staci brings over 10 years of experience working with cities and towns around the country to promote the economic and recreation potential of their local rivers and streams, with a focus on furthering clean water goals, revitalizing historic downtowns, and reconnecting communities to their water resources. To accomplish this, she guides clients through the planning, public outreach, and fundraising process to ensure optimal solutions. Staci’s expertise in water quality, public spaces, and conservation is most recently demonstrated through her leadership in the development of the Des Moines Area MPO Water Trails + Greenway Master Plan and Webster County Conservation’s Parks, Facilities, and Recreation Master Plan.

Staci Williams was recently featured as one of three local Iowa leaders labeled as the biggest supporters of the $117 million Des Moines Area MPO water trails effort. During the DSM Magazine Innovate Iowa event, Staci and other leaders discussed how enhancing the area’s waterways will create a flood of recreational, cultural, and economic opportunities.
