ISG Welcomes New Staff

July 30, 2015 ISG is pleased to announce the following additions to our professional team:

Eric Ertl – GIS Project Manager, ISG Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN
Ertl serves as a GIS Project Manager and brings over 10 years and a wide range of national experience to his position. He is responsible for administering and managing geographic information and data and applying that data to specific services and industries for more accurate decision making.

Nathan Gruver, PLA, ASLA– Landscape Architect, ISG Des Moines, IA
Gruver serves as a Landscape Architect and Planner. His areas of expertise include urban design and streetscape design with a passion for culturally significant spaces. His portfolio also includes numerous stream restorations utilizing natural channel design, bio engineering, wetland construction, plant inventory and analysis.

Amanda Prosser, PLA, ASLA– Landscape Architect, ISG Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN
Prosser brings over 15 years of professional experience as a Landscape Architect and Planner. She specializes in urban design, parks and recreation planning and development projects, and has designed and managed numerous large-scale public improvement projects across the Midwest.

Uma Vempati, PE, PMP– Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer, ISG Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN
Vempati joins ISG as Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer and brings 15 years and a wide breadth of national and international experience to his position. He has extensive expertise in surface and groundwater supply systems, water and wastewater treatment systems, distribution and collection system infrastructure, and storm sewer infrastructure. Vempati serves on the Board of Directors of the American Water Works Association and is a frequent presenter at water conferences.

February 11, 2021 (Mankato, Minnesota) – ISG is excited to welcome Darrell Pettis, PE, to its growing team. As Le Sueur County’s County Administrator, and previously their County Engineer, his vast experience covers leadership, administration, and engineering. Some of the significant works Pettis completed at Le Sueur County included multiple government buildings leading planning, design, and finances to bring those to life.

Toe Wildlife Management Area Receives 62-Acres of Wetland Restoration

December 22, 2020 (Mankato, Minnesota) – After nearly four years of planning, design, and construction, ISG is proud to report the successful completion of a 62-acre wetland restoration project within the Toe Wildlife Management Area (WMA). Situated in rural Jackson County, an area of southern Minnesota where less than 1% of original wetlands remain, the project is part of a larger initiative of the Heron Lake Watershed District to protect and restore nearly 350-acres of wetlands in the Toe WMA.

Mankato MoonDogs’ Franklin Rogers Park to be Renamed ISG Field

October 20, 2020 (Mankato, Minnesota) – Building on a series of successful partnerships and projects to bolster its ballpark, the Mankato MoonDogs, a member of the Northwoods League, has exercised its rights with the landlord, the City of Mankato, to lease the naming rights of Franklin Rogers Park to ISG. The ballpark will be named ISG Field after the professional design and engineering firm that was founded in Mankato in 1973. ISG Field represents the MoonDogs’ commitment to providing top quality local baseball and an enriching fan experience. This is the latest update for the team, which has unveiled a new logo and has implemented several renovations for the ballpark in recent years.

October 13, 2020 (Rochester, Minnesota) – ISG, a leading professional design firm in architecture, engineering, planning, and environmental solutions, announces plans to open a new office in Rochester, Minnesota. The addition will allow the firm to better serve its existing and growing client base and leverage the area’s diverse talent pool.
