Evan Del Val to serve on Advisory Council for the Capital Crossroads – Iowa Water Future Task Force

Jan 05, 2016

January 5, 2016 (Des Moines, Iowa) – ISG Water Resources Engineer, Evan Del Val, PE, was recently named to the Advisory Council for the Capital Crossroads – Iowa Water Future Task Force. The group was formed to develop ideas and solutions to help solve Iowa’s pressing water quality concerns.

Del Val joins others representing government agencies, producers, water quality experts, and agricultural retailers throughout Iowa who, together, aim to provide an implementable action plan to the Iowa legislature during the 2016 session. The group, who has recently held its kickoff and winter 2015 meetings, is developing solutions that include funding sources, incentive opportunities, and regulatory reforms.

According to Del Val, “Water quality is a pressing, complex issue throughout the country, and Iowa’s Water Future Task Force is helping position our state to take a leading role.”

Adding to ISG’s water quality expertise in agricultural drainage and other relevant markets, Del Val incorporates a holistic stormwater management approach to his work that focuses on water quality and quantity management, Best Management Practice (BMP) design, permitting, and facility maintenance. Del Val is a licensed professional engineer (PE) in California, Iowa, and South Dakota, Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM), and LEED AP Building Design + Construction (LEED AP BD+C).
