North Cedar Avenue Streetscape
The City of Owatonna initiated a three-block streetscape improvement project for North Cedar Avenue to create an energetic downtown through improvements to traffic, sidewalk, pedestrian safety, parking, and landscaping.
Working closely with business owners and City staff through in-person workshops, and utilizing in-house technology, ISG created cost-effective and sustainable community-driven designs for a flourishing and vibrant downtown that integrates historic elements and will serve the community for years to come.

ISG presented a diverse design team and an inclusive engagement process. Through the open houses, the project website, the email communication, as well as the direct communication with building and business owners, ISG has taken all of the comments and come with a thorough design that incorporates all of the desires of the community and the City Council.
